Founder

Wilson Hines, AA5AZ

Wilson and his wife, Nikki, own Storm Support Services, LLC, who support the telecom industry through various types of disasters.  Wilson is also a career trucker, serving the line haul fuel and gas industry locally.  Wilson's experience in disaster support and work travel experience gives him a unique perspective on the capabilities of D-STAR for Eastern NC.

Mission Advisor

Ven Faulk, K4VEN

Ven is the president of Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc. in Goldsboro, NC, Vice President of the Wayne Community College​ Board of Trustees, and is on the board of the Wayne County GOP.  Ven sees the potential of a viable network of D-STAR repeaters in eastern NC and wants to bring the tech to support emergency services and hams on a daily basis.

Technical Advisor

Matt Baumann, N9NMH

Matt is an Airwave Transportation System Specialist with the FAA in Wisconsin.  Matt is an avid user and evangelist of D-STAR and a D-STAR repeater owner.  Matt has assisted in the successful launch of D-STAR networks in Oklahoma and is very involved in the Wisconsin Digital Network.

Network Comm System Analyst at the Wisconsin State Patrol and in charge of the team at the Wisconsin Digital Network​ , where he has been at the front of the team, growing the network to over 45> D-STAR repeaters in the state.
